• "Certified Organic" tea comes from a farm and a processing facility that are certified organic by nationally and/or internationally recognized entities. These tea trees and bushes are grown without the use of toxic and harmful chemicals. Stringent organic farming and processing practices are used. • "Naturally Grown" tea comes from a farm and a processing facility that adhere to the same standard as those that are certified organic. However, as the yield is low and demand is high, farmers of "naturally grown" tea farms usually opt out of the costly and time consuming process of legally certifying their tea as organic, so that they may devote their resources to growing healthy and resilient tea treas that yield exceptionally, exquisitely good tea.
• "Wildcrafted" tea comes from ancient native tea trees that grow from seeds in the wild without any human intervention, far away from human activities and potential soures of contamination. Most of these trees are several hundred years old. Some are believed to be close to 1,000 years old. Their impressive root systems are deep and wide, able to penetrate deep into the soil to absorb nutrients, allowing the tree to be naturally resilient against diseases and environmental stressors. These trees yield leaves that are delicately nuanced, reflecting the terroir and the season. Wild tea trees are found mostly in the Tay Con Linh Mountain Range of Ha-Giang Province, located in the Northeast of Vietnam.
